Before collecting a single sample, I assess the farm: land use history, soil variability, vegetation cover, topography, and the specific question we need to answer. I use satellite imagery to stratify the landscape into homogeneous zones, so sampling points are placed where they are most representative, and the number of samples is optimised for statistical confidence.

The output of this phase is a clear sampling protocol: exactly where to go, how many samples, at what depth, and following which standard.

The right data starts in the field----> with the right sampling strategy.

The process begins by defining the question the sampling campaign needs to answer:

whether estimating soil carbon stocks, characterizing soil fertility, evaluating an agricultural input, establishing a baseline, or monitoring changes over time.

From there, I design the sampling framework around the expected spatial and temporal variability of the system

FIELD DATA COLLECTION

Soil samples are collected following the agreed protocol, GPS-georeferenced for full spatial traceability, and handled with documented chain of custody. I coordinate submission to accredited laboratories for the parameters your project requires: SOC, bulk density, texture, pH, nutrients: N, P, K, and biological indicators.

What you receive from this phase is raw field data plus processed laboratory results: clean, traceable, and directly comparable to any future monitoring round.

ANALYSIS & TECHNICAL REPORT

We analyse field and laboratory results in their agronomic context by integrating satellite data, soil science, and your specific management or reporting objectives.

We write a technical report with clear findings, spatial maps, and actionable recommendations.

Reports are written to the standard required by your audience: carbon market verifiers, organic certification bodies, corporate sustainability teams, or research journals.
